At Aspen Heights, we commit to providing memorable, fun, and effective learning experiences to all our children and experiencing the EXPO 2020 trips has certainly been an inspirational experience for them. This was their first school trip since the start of the pandemic and we are delighted that every class from Foundation Stage 2 to Year 10 had the opportunity to visit this extraordinary Event.
“Doing EXPO 2020 trips is certainly a remarkable once-in-a-lifetime event. We are proud that our students attended, demonstrating to the wider community what responsible, interested and well-mannered young people they are. They all described their learning and their visits with such passion.” said Emma Shanahan, Principal of Aspen Heights British School.
Under the Expo Schools Programme, each year group got a chance to visit the three thematic districts of Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability and they thoroughly enjoyed learning about the inspiring innovations and technological advances. In line with UAE 50 celebrations, our Secondary children incorporated parallel thematic learning within their Humanities lessons, which they supported by visiting the Sustainability, World Opportunities and the UAE Pavilions in EXPO 2020.
We are so pleased that all our students have had the opportunity to enjoy EXPO 2020 trips with their classmates, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Their EXPO 2020 journey has been filled with amazing moments and helped ignite their creativity.
