After sharing this exciting news with our community, we invited our Year 10 and 11 families into school for an information session. We were so happy to see so many of our families in attendance. Our Senior Leadership team shared specific information about the curriculum structure, including the six groups of subjects which we can offer, the IB learner profile and the many advantages of the IBDP to support entrance and acceptance to universities. During the meeting, there were many fantastic questions, such as “What does this mean for students taking IGCSEs?” Well, it means that Year 10 and 11 students will be incredibly prepared to move into an IBDP program as the curricula align beautifully. Therefore, our students will be ready for university and the world of work.
Once we are an accredited IB school, the Secondary School at Aspen Heights British School will be “empowering globally minded students to make a positive contribution to our world through a love of learning and care for each other and our planet”.
