Every four years, the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) offers a clear picture of how students around the world are progressing in key subjects. The most recent results have brought exceptional news for Aspen Heights British School, with our students achieving some of the strongest outcomes in the UAE.
Our Primary students delivered remarkable performance in both mathematics and science, placing Aspen Heights among the top achieving schools in the emirate. With scores of 565 in Maths and 564 in Science, our learners far exceeded the Abu Dhabi private school averages. They also surpassed the emirate’s ambitious targets of 556 for Maths and 547 for Science, placing Aspen Heights firmly above the international High benchmark. These achievements highlight the impact of our nurturing environment, strong teaching practice, and commitment to ensuring progress for every child.
The celebration does not end in Primary. Our Secondary students also performed above the Abu Dhabi average in Science, achieving a score of 463 compared with the emirate-wide average of 443. This consistency across year groups shows how Aspen Heights builds solid foundations that carry learners confidently into each stage of their education. It also reflects our belief that academic excellence is most meaningful when it is sustained over time.

For parents, these results provide clear reassurance that Aspen Heights offers an academically ambitious education rooted in care, personal growth, and high expectations. They reflect a culture where students are encouraged to approach challenge with confidence, supported by skilled teachers who understand their individual learning needs. As part of International Schools Partnership (ISP), Aspen Heights British School benefits from global best practice, innovative learning approaches, and an international network focused on continuous improvement. All of this directly enriches the experience of our learners here in Abu Dhabi.
We are immensely proud of our students for their hard work and resilience, and of our staff for their unwavering commitment to each learner’s growth. As we continue to build on this success, we look forward to supporting even more children as they “Grow with Aspen” and discover what they can achieve.
