Aspen Heights: Back to School

We were so happy to be welcoming our entire community back to school this year.
Our teachers and staff were here a week earlier ensuring that our community had a great welcome on the first day of school.

It was truly exciting to see all the smiling faces as we welcomed our families back after the summer break.
Our Principal, Mrs Emma Shanahan, and the rest of our Senior Leadership Team, have so much news to share and so many exciting initiatives to launch.

Here is what some of our students had to say about starting school this year:

Omar S – Year 10
“I’m a little bit nervous because it’s a new year and I’m starting my GCSEs, but I’m excited to be back with my friends and see what the future holds! “

Omar M –  Year 10
“After a long year of hard work last year, I enjoyed a relaxing summer holiday. After every summer rest, we need to be ready for another new year of hard work! I feel ready and prepared for the new challenges ahead. I’m excited and delighted to be back.”

Atalya B – Year 5
“I’m excited to meet my new teacher. I love this school because it’s the best school I’ve ever been in. The teachers take time to make sure children learn -they are all patient and kind. I’m looking forward to fun classes and field trips.”

Parisa G – Year 5
“I’m kind of excited and nervous at the same time because this is my first time at this school as I’ve moved from Dubai. Already I’m really comfortable with my new teacher because she seems funny and kind. I’m looking forward to getting better at science and having a great Year 5.”

Rhys – Year 4
“I am excited to be back in school and missed my friends a lot. I am looking forward to meeting my new teacher and playing football during PE lessons – that is my favourite!”

Isabella – Year 6
“I am looking forward to exploring new things in Year 6 this year and meeting new people, teachers and lots of new experiences.”
